Company: LangWatch - Dev-tool
Location: Amsterdam — in-person, working alongside the founders
Engagement: Full-time
Start: September 2026
Works with: The founders directly (CEO & CTO)
The role
We're looking for a Founding Growth Engineer, someone who points their technical skills at growth, and who thinks like a founder because they either want to be one or already have been.
You're technical, but you don't want to live in code all day . You want to build the tools, automations, agents, demos, and content that bring customers in, and own the outcome, not just the code. You'll work directly with the CEO and CTO, take real projects end to end, and see every part of how an early-stage company goes to market.
Whether you're early in your career and hungry to learn how a company is built, or you've already taken your own swing at founding something, this is a role with real ownership from day one. Right now the founders are absorbing a lot (the CTO is currently acting CEO), so there's more scope available immediately than in almost any other seat.
What you'll do
- Engineer growth. Build the automations, internal AI agents, and scripts that power outbound, lead generation, and the top of the funnel, turn GTM work into systems.
- Build demos and technical content. Create the demos, sample apps, and developer-credible content that make people want to try the product, the kind only an engineer can make convincing.
- Ship launches with the dev team. Work hand-in-hand with engineering on new product launches so inbound and leads keep coming in.
- Run product-led growth experiments. Instrument the funnel, test ideas fast, and use data to find what actually moves the numbers.
- Own the lead-development pipeline. Take ownership of how leads are generated, tracked, and moved forward, with an engineer's bias for automation.
- Join on larger sales-deals - together with the founder, own the follow-ups and be part of the relationsship, learn the product full-in-depth.
- Be the founders' leverage. Take whole projects off their plate and drive them to done.
Who you are
You come from one of two places, both work for us:
- The future founder: a strong growth engineer early in your career (a sharp recent grad or 1–4 years in), who wants to start a company one day and is joining to learn the whole game. You love the agent-building part and understand the infrastructure needed underneeth.
- The ex-founder: you've already built something of your own. It may not have worked out the way you hoped, but you know what it takes to go zero-to-one, and you want to do it again with more leverage and less loneliness this time.
Either way, you are:
